Concourse on Government Strategies to Strengthen the Competitive Advantage of Businesses in the Covid- 19 Pandemic
The coronavirus crosses countries’ borders and affects human life. Businesses have notbeen spared from this impact, and this crisis, as an unforeseen event, has created opportunitiesThe coronavirus crosses countries’ borders and affects human life.and threats for businesses. Businesses in Iran have not been spared from this impact, and the existence of oppressive sanctions has narrowed the circle for businesses. Due to the fact that during the Corona crisis, many interviews, reports and analyzes were conducted in the country about the available solutions to deal with this virus. The aim of the present study is to investigate the existing discourse space on these strategies and to provide classification of these discourses to support businesses. The present research method is qualitative, which was obtained after studying the discourse space of 70 speech witnesses, which after open and pivotal coding became 27 sub-categories and 4 main categories, including creative, supportive, reinforcement and forgiveness strategies. The present research method is qualitative, which was obtained after studying the discourse space of 70 speech witnesses, which after open and pivotal coding became 27 sub-categories and 4 main categories, includes creating, supporting, empowering and forgiving strategies to boost business advantages during Covid 19. Research findings show that in the first phase of the disease, reduction or remission policies are effective, and in the second phase, supportive policies are important, because the situation must improve. In the third phase of the disease, it is better to take strengthening measures so that businesses can move towards stability and the mechanisms of development are appropriate for the fourth phase of the disease. At the end of this manuscript, long-term solutions for supporting businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic has been suggested.
