A study of the factors of increasing or decreasing the social solidarity among the people with the emphasis on West Azerbaijan province

Continuity of the social, political and cultural life and also the development of a society depend and on the coherence and solidarity among the units which make the framework of that society. However, if social solidarity and intra-ethnic relations increase, loyalty and faithfulness of the people for the national society will also increase. Among this, the geopolitical position of the West Azerbaijan province, its ethnic and religious diversity, activities of the different ethnic groups and radical religious movements, has added to the importance of the application of true cultural politics about the cultural and ethnical diversity so that not only can it lead to the continual and security and development of the province, but also the plots of the enemies to have ethnic movements for their own favor be neutralized.
There are many factors that can lead to tension and conflict among the people. Among these, we can refer to the factors such as the geopolitical position of the people, religious differences, having dominant beliefs among the people, ethnicity and fascist ideas, feelings of discrimination and injustice and unequal distribution, development of the communication technologies and weakening the geographical borders and the possibility of having overseas relationship with ethnics and groups with the same origin. Also, factors such as the equality of the citizens, development, cultural asset, political cooperation, social cooperation, national identity and attention to the culture of the people lead to the strengthening of the solidarity among people. Therefore, taking the approaches which is based on multiculturalism in macro policies can have the best and the most benefit for the country and can be beneficial in shaping the national identity so that all the ethnic groups of Iran in all the parts of the country can have this feeling that they can also use all the facilities of the country like all he groups and can have citizen rights
