The prevalence of coronavirus has been declared by the World Health Organization as a public health emergency and the high rate of infection and mortality of this disease has caused many psychiatric manifestations in different segments of society. is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population included undergraduate students of Tehran government universities in the academic year 2020-2021. Among the population, 321 sample sizes were selected by available sampling method. And the research tool was a questionnaire.
Attachment styles directly and indirectly mediated by mental rumination affect the psychological response to covid-19 constraints. Perfectionism directly and indirectly mediated by mental rumination affect the psychological response to covid-19 constraints. Alexithymia directly and indirectly mediated by mental rumination affect the psychological response to covid-19 constraints.
The results of this study can be used to reduce the level of rumination using perfectionism and emotional expression and insecure attachment style used in people exposed to covid-19.
