The Mediating Role of Organizational Social Responsibility in the Effect of Police Counselling Services on Organizational Effectiveness Case Study: Tehran Police Stations
This research aims to know the influencing variables on organizational effectiveness, such as social responsibility.
The statistical population of the present study consists of officials and deputy police officers of Greater Tehran police stations, including 480 people, and a sample size of 214 people was selected based on stratified random sampling. The measurement tool consists of a questionnaire of 48 questions made by the researcher based on theoretical principles. Cronbach's alpha calculated the instrument's validity, and its value was 83/. Furthermore, confirmatory factor analysis was used to check the validity of all the components of this questionnaire. Mean tests and structural equation models were used to perform multivariate regression to test the hypotheses. The present data were analyzed using SPSS and PLS innovative software packages.
The research findings indicate that police advisory services have a direct effect of 0.68% on organizational effectiveness and an indirect effect of 0.38% through social responsibility. In addition, social responsibility has a direct effect on the effectiveness of employees by 0.75%. Also, consulting services can predict 0.81 changes in social responsibility.
The results of the research showed that in order to improve the effectiveness of police officers in performing their legal duties, not only the components and indicators of counselling services should be strengthened, but also the strengthening of variables such as social responsibility, which was included as a mediating variable in this study, should be considered, revised and be strengthened Because by strengthening the indicators of social responsibility, the indirect effect of consulting services as well as the direct effect of social responsibility on the effectiveness of employees can be increased.
