Challenges and Strategies of Good Governance in the Banking System of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with Emphasis on Citizenship Rights

The aim of this study was to investigate the challenges and solutions of proper governance in the banking system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with emphasis on the enactment of citizenship rights in the administrative system. This research is applied in terms of purpose and is descriptive-analytical in terms of data collection method. Based on the results obtained in this study, it is clear that the indicators of citizenship rights in the country's banking system are in poor condition, and these conditions and many problems of the banking system create an important challenge in terms of trust, satisfaction and social capital. In particular, the results of this study indicate that the country's banking system is in an unfavorable situation in terms of transparency. There are also legal problems in the country in terms of legality and commitment to the principles contained in the enactment of civil rights in the administrative system. Meanwhile, in the document of citizenship rights in the administrative system, there are several cases to support and respect citizenship rights in all departments of the country, including banks and financial institutions. In general, based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that according to the upstream documents, much emphasis has been placed on respect for citizenship rights in the banking system; But the main problem is that in practice little attention is paid to the rights of bank customers.
