Bushehr and the Persian Gulf in the historiography of Sadid al-Saltanah

Local historiography is a representation of the past on a local and regional scale. Such research is characterized by thematic, temporal, and spatial constraints, and this provides the basis for a detailed look at social history. On the other hand, living in the geographical environment of the research gives local historians the opportunity to study and record all the phenomena that are of interest to them. Sadid al-Saltanah Kababi is one of the local historians of Bushehr who has left important works about the history of Bushehr and the Persian Gulf.In this article, an attempt is made to study the history of Bushehr and the Persian Gulf in the historiography of Sadid al-Saltanah in a descriptive-analytical manner. The findings of the research show that Sadid al-Saltanah, despite being a Qajar statesman, has not limited himself to chronicle writing and reporting for the historiography of this region.Unlike the law-abiding secretaries and historians of the court of her predecessors and predecessors, she gave a detailed description and analysis
