Identifying the Facilitating and Hindering Factors of Conducting Electronic In-Service Training Courses for Employees (Study Case: Shahid Sattari Aeronautical University)

Abstract:

With the ever-increasing development of educational technologies and the emergence of numerous challenges of holding face-to-face training courses during the COVID19 pandemic, more and more organizations feel the necessity of conducting employee training courses online. The purpose of this research is to identify the facilitating and hindering factors of conducting electronic in-service training courses for the employees of Shahid Sattari Aeronautical University. The type of research is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of its method. The statistical population of the research was formed by the employees of Shahid Sattari Aeronautical University, 125 of whom were selected as a statistical sample by simple random sampling. The tool of data collection was a researcher-made questionnaire, whose validity was checked and confirmed by content and factor methods and its reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Data analysis was done using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis methods (confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis) with the help of LISREL software. The findings of the research indicate the identification of 13 factors in the form of three categories of facilitating factors (structural, contextual and managerial) and 16 factors in the form of four categories of inhibiting factors (technical and technological, organizational, individual and financial) of holding electronic training courses. He was in the service of the staff. The results show that the development of the use of electronic education requires comprehensive reform and improvement of the elements of education (both teacher, learner, educational content and texts, educational equipment and technology, infrastructure, etc.) in the form of a coherent and coordinated program.
