Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to analyze and explain the impact of information and communication technology on the skills training system using Porter's value chain model as a theoretical framework. For this purpose, in conducting quantitative research, a researcher-made questionnaire was used, the validity of which was confirmed by experts and its reliability was accepted by Cronbach's alpha test with a value of 0.957. Findings from the analysis of the collected data indicated that the three effects of information and communication technology (including the effect of automation, the effect of information and the effect of transformation) can influence both aspects of the value chain of the skills training system (including core activities and support activities). Accordingly, it is expected that the increasing prevalence of information and communication technology in the various pillars of the skills training system can have a positive impact on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of this vital and important system.
