The role of the Iranian government in joining the World Trade Organization With an approach to government ownership

Accession to the WTO reduces tariff rates, increases the volume of international trade integration, and changes relative prices. Iran's membership in this organization based on the international trade level index and international trade integration index has had a positive effect on the export of its goods to other countries. Increasing government ownership in the economy has reduced the competitiveness of domestic goods at the international level, and in contrast to increasing the presence of the government as a government, has increased the competitiveness of domestic goods with similar foreign types. The research hypothesis is that the holding government in international trade acts like a businessman and seeks profit, which will prevent the passage of laws to pave the way for Iran's membership in the World Trade Organization. N. It is better for governments to transfer ownership to the private sector in order to lead to economic progress. The present study, with descriptive-analytical method, filing and library studies, seeks to investigate the role of the Iranian government in joining the World Trade Organization.
