The impact of Turkey's regional policies on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran (2015-2020)

The overall goal of this research is to explain Turkey's regional policies and its impact on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The research method is descriptive-analytical, the considered statistical population includes focal groups in the field of politics and security (professors and military personnel and experts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Turkey, Iraq and Syria) in total 45 people as well as authentic documents and documents printed on the subject It is research. The research method used in this research is descriptive (case-based) with a combined (mixed) approach. The findings of the research indicate the fact that the two countries of Iran and Turkey as two regional powers are competing with each other in various fields, including economy, geopolitics and the expansion of the sphere of influence, but the rivalry between them and the unstable conditions of the region can end up in serious challenges at any moment.
