The triple effect of law, prison and rehabilitation and religious adherence to prevent social deviations in the city of Karaj
prevention of social deviations as a general challenge for societies has always been the concern of many planners and researchers. Based on this, scientists and researchers of criminology and social issues have put forward different reasons regarding the prevention of social deviations and each of them have looked at this phenomenon from a different point of view. Specifically, sociologists have paid special attention to the study of structures, psychologists to the study of personality traits in people, and lawyers to criminal issues arising from it.
The statistical population includes the citizens of Karaj city, of which 384 people were studied in 1401 using the sample size table of Lin and Morgan. Data collection was done through a researcher-made questionnaire, based on the existing theoretical support, the main variables of the research were indexed and their dimensions were determined. Also, the face validity of the questionnaire has been confirmed by the professors after review and its reliability has been finally confirmed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient test with a score of 0.79.
According to the information obtained from the statistical inference of the research, the estimates and significance level showed that the effect of all variables on the dependent variable of social deviations was significant. In addition to the structural relationships that have all become significant, due to the negative estimates, it can be said that with the increase in adherence to the law, prison sentence and adherence to religion,
