The Effect of Organizational Learning and Flourishing On Extra-Responsibility Behaviors with the Mediating Role of Female Employees' Participation
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational learning and flourishing on extra-responsibility behaviors, considering the mediating role of participation and flourishing of female employees.
This research is descriptive-survey and applied. The statistical population includes working women in 50 government organizations of Hamadan province, of which 221 people were selected as a sample using the stratified method. To collect data, the standard questionnaires of employee participation by Akrami et al. (2019), organizational learning by Ahmadi et al. (2013), employee flourishing questionnaire by Diener et al. The validity of the questionnaires is based on construct validity, diagnostic validity, divergent validity, convergent validity, and the HTMT index, and its reliability has been checked with Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The test of the research model was done based on the structural equation modeling method and Smart PLS software.
The findings showed that organizational learning has a positive effect on the participation of female employees and extra-responsible behaviors. The prosperity and participation of female employees has a positive effect on their extra-responsible behaviors. Also, the participation of female employees has a mediating role in the relationship between organizational learning and extra-responsible behaviors. But the effect of the prosperity of female employees on their participation is not significant. Also, the mediating role of female employees' participation in the relationship between employees' prosperity and extra-responsibility behaviors is not significant.
According to the results, managers and planners can identify the training needs of employees and by creating the opportunity to acquire skills and experiences and flourishing of women, they can meet these needs and improve the abilities, skills and participation of employees and, in turn, the extra-responsibility behavior of female employees.
