Platforms and obstacles to the realization of civil society of the Islamic Republic in Iran

Civil society is the role-playing concept of a society consisting of different people and groups in the form of an institutionalized structure that can function independently and separate from the government. Freedom of participation, right to access information transparency, freedom of parties and gatherings, freedom of media are the most important criteria of a civil society. Therefore, it seems that the civil ideological discourse and the authoritarian political structure and the lack of full implementation of the capacities of the constitution in the administration of the country restricting the civil society as well as the creation of a free economic structure and an open political space can help to implement this type of society. Despite the emphasis of the constitution on the widespread presence of people in the public arena in order to crystallize the ideal of the Islamic revolution, the realization of civil society in the western way in the Islamic Republic of Iran is facing executive and supervisory challenges due to the specific type of governance system in the country. Therefore, in the present article, we seek to answer the basic question of what are the obstacles and platforms for the realization of civil society in Iran, although it seems that the special form of governance based on Islamic principles and the leadership of the jurists in the country's governance structure has two rules. It is opposite to the form of civil society in the West. This article has been compiled in a descriptive analytical and library method.
