Abstract:

Marginalization is a global issue, and governments seek to reduce it. Today, based on various measures, the face of marginalization has changed fundamentally compared to the past. These areas have strengths and opportunities, as well as weaknesses, threats and social harms. The purpose of this article is to examine the strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and threats of marginalization from a social and cultural perspective in areas 10-12 and 14 of Isfahan. Findings In District 10 of Isfahan Municipality, cultural and social strategy is aggressive, in fact, it is the use of capabilities to take advantage of opportunities. In region 12, the strategy presented is competitive in the social dimension, i.e., improving internal systems by using external opportunities, and in the cultural dimension, it is a defensive strategy, i.e. reducing weaknesses and avoiding threats. In District 14 of Isfahan Municipality, the strategy presented in both social and cultural dimensions is defensive. Here, it is necessary to reduce internal weaknesses and avoid environmental threats.
