Sustainable supplier selection in dairy company by fuzzy DEMATEL and fuzzy VIKOR approach; Case study
Today, the diversity of customer orders, development of management information systems, competition in the global environment, and expanding public awareness have led companies to focus on supply chain management. In addition to economic considerations, environmental issues such as climate change and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as social concerns such as workers' and employees' rights, have become important aspects of supply chain management. Sustainable supply chains aim to optimize supply chain management in three different areas: economic, social, and environmental. This research focuses on the sustainable evaluation and selection of suppliers in Shadshir dairy company. First, suitable criteria were identified through a comprehensive literature review. Second, the decision team was asked to determine the importance and relevance of each criterion. Fuzzy DEMATEL was applied to determine the weights of the criteria, and fuzzy VIKOR was used to evaluate suppliers. Finally, a sensitivity analysis was conducted on some important parameters. The results show that the economic and environmental criteria are the most important aspects of the supplier selection problem.
