Reducing the growth rate of Iran's population and its effects on the country's power and national security
One of the important and influential components in the national power of any country is its population. The population of any country can increase the geopolitical weight of the country. In terms of geopolitics, Iran must increase its population in order to achieve a high geopolitical weight in the global region, to eliminate peripheral threats and reduce the negative effects and consequences of population decline. Granted, Iran has enough space and resources to increase its population, so that it can easily accommodate 150 million people without the slightest problem. Recognizing population control policies as a social and political problem and preventing it is necessary to preserve the survival of the generation. The political goals hidden in the reduction of the population grew with cultural tools such as propaganda, promotion of modernity, and compliance with the health policies of UNESCO in Islamic countries, and social contexts, such as the spread of delinquency, the spread of feminist views, and divorce, supported it. Population control in Iran has brought unfortunate consequences, among which its long-term effects can lead to the disruption of the population balance, the reduction of youth and elite forces, the weakening of the country's defense force, and as a result, the weakening of national power and security. The type of applied research and its method is a background case and its purpose is to investigate the effects of population reduction on the strength and national security of the country.
