Compilation and determination of the validity of the psychological training protocol with the Islamic approach and its effectiveness on religious orientation of girl second high school students in Kerman

Psychotherapy has always had integral links with religious thought and tradition; therefore, it is important to develop approaches based on religious psychotherapy. The purpose of study was to compile, verify the educational package of psychological training with the Islamic approach and also to investigate its effectiveness on religious orientation of female students. This research was applied and compiling an educational package and validation. The research method in the first stage (preparation of educational package) and the second stage (validation of content) was Delphi method; and it was in the third stage (clinical trial). The content validity of Islamic psychoanalysis therapy was confirmed based on content validity index (CVI) and content validity ratio (CVR). The results of the clinical trial also showed the effectiveness of the psychological training with the Islamic approach on the religious orientation of female students. According to the findings of the current research, the educational package of Islamic psychological training was found to have content validity; this therapeutic method can also functionally increase the internal religious orientation that is associated with mental health.
