Compilation and validation of local indicators of family-friendly organization and validation of local indicators of family-friendly organization
Nowadays, the strong relationship between the work and family systems as well as their interaction has been known considerably more than ever and a large number of research has been conducted to meet the challenges of these systems. One of the effective strategies in this field is to replace the organisation with a family-friendly organisation. The first step in doing basic studies in this field is to establish the main indicators of family-friendly organisation. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to define and validate the proposed indicators of family-friendly organisation. This study is an applied research in terms of its purpose and a (mixed) exploratory research in terms of its strategy. In the first place, a literature review was taking place based on combinatorial meta-analysis method. Then, thematic analysis was used for identification of related codes and Subsequently, a conceptual framework of family-friendly organisation’s indicators was presented. Secondly, an exclusive interview about the conceptual framework were done with some experts, which led to definition of family-friendly organisation’s indicators. Finally, the validity of the proposed criteria was confirmed by Delphi method. Thirty general concepts were defined, which were categorized into ten main concepts. Eventually, these concepts were summarized as follows: structural indicators; process indicators; outcome indicators
