Khans and Difficulty Chronology of them in National Epics after Ferdousi's Shahnameh

Abstract:

Khan is a fundamental basis in Ferdousi's Shahnameh and subsequent national epics. Investigation into subsequent national epics, demonstrate that khans and difficulty chronology of them has come in to sight in these collections and has become of the most important basis of these works. In this line, it is essential to probe in to this issue to show the how and cause of existence of these khans. In this survey we study quality and subject matter of some epic works like: Ferdousi's Shahnameh, Faraznameh, Jahangirnameh, Shahriarnameh, Bahmannameh, Kowshnameh etc. After comparing we examine thoroughly the mythical and social domain. The method of this research is qualitative and the subject matter is analyzed by khan content. Although most of khans follow Shahnameh's, this research indicates that most of them deal whit innovation and are Iranian protagonists. And they are frequently from Rostam's dynasty. Whenever Iran allied nations get into a scrape with their enemies, they immediately come to the rescue of them romping home to victory. By these khans we can perceive the social and cultural condition of the narrator society, their beliefs and emotions about various issues.
