Evaluation of user website interface of National Library of Iran
This research, investigated the user interface of National Library of Iran .The aim was to identify degree of match between user interface of National library of Iran with Nielson's model. The research method is qualitative applying the Heuristic evaluation method. A researcher-made Questionnaire was used for this survey. The research target population includes 36 cases of library and information professional .The data analysis showed that degree of match between interface of National library of Iran with Nielson's model is generally above average with some weak points in this website .The following is the results in accordance with the ten features of Nielson's model: the extent of concordance features like visibility of system status, match between system and the real world, consistency and standards, Aesthetic and minimalist design, Recognition rather than recall, is high also, features like User control and freedom , Help users Recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors ; Flexibility and minimalist design , Help and documentation is average and feature like error prevention is very low.
