The Critical discourse analysis of the Iran`s 12th presidential elections candidates

This thesis deal with critical analysis of candidate discourse of the 12th president of Iran to identify important issues in society in each discourse. The raw materials of analysis is contains the text of the presidential debates and advertisements films, which is subject to inter textual analysis and discursive discourse. The extraction of content and of the central slabs took place according to the frequency of iteration and the explicit emphasis of candidates compared to the competitors contexts. Three discourses have competed in the competition principles: Principlism-oriented reform, Reformism-oriented principle and Stable development discourse. In the field of sustainable development, Hashemi Tba’ explicitly criticized the country's current situation but cannot enough power because of the weakness of political power and equivalent chain (University community) and less ideological. Triangle of Raeisi-Ghalibaf and Aghamirsalim (principlism reformist) draw their own antagonist lines on justice and support for disadvantaged people; however Ghalibaf distinguished itself Justice oriented modern management from the state of work and dignity(planned by Raeisi) . In discourse reformism-oriented principles; Rouhani - Jahangiri couple failed in defense of developmental elements based on economic growth and solve internal problems with reliance on foreign relations, they wined in the competition, only with the help of the young seeking hope and future .In addition to the strong convergence Islamic revolutionary, three discussions had economic-social common moments (Poverty, inequality and economic-social). Class interval, the political immorality, financial corruption and rent seeking were also common elements of three discourses.
