Presenting a Qualitative Model of Anti-Corruption Policy Making in Iranian Government Organizations (Case Study: Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade)

The existence of corruption in any country can not be hidden, as a result, our country Iran is no exception to this rule. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to present a qualitative model of anti-corruption policy-making in Iranian government organizations (Case study: Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade). In this qualitative study, 12 experts and faculty members in the executive field participated in interviews and the Delphi method, so that after performing the Delphi method steps, 21 basic indicators of fighting corruption in government organizations were defined. The results showed that according to the proposed model of corruption, 27 indicators affecting the fight against corruption are independent variables of research that were classified into 9 dimensions (social, cultural, economic, political, judicial, regulatory, individual, organizational, legal). These conceptual categories are the same as anti-corruption policies. In general, it can be concluded that the phenomenon of corruption in today's world and especially in developing countries has been raised as one of the most important obstacles to the development of society and it is necessary to responsibly consider the factors identified in this study.
