Political sociology of the Zoroastrian religious minority in the Razavi era

After the fall of the Sassanids until the rise of the Abbasid caliphate, Zoroastrian struggles were confined to the preservation of legacy and several political uprisings. With the onset of the Abbasid caliphate, and with the conquest of borders of the Muslim world halted, efforts to build a new civilization inspired by the Islamic foundations and heritage of ancient civilizations began on a large scale. During this period, which coincides with the Razavi era and there are accounts of Imam Reza's (AS) bold presence and role in scientific debates and discussions, we witness numerous scientific and cultural developments in Zoroastrianism for many reasons including support. Abbasid caliphs and the bold role of the Iranians in the Abbasi court. this study seeks to investigate the political, social, and cultural activities of Zoroastrians in the Razavi era by using the descriptive-analytical method by using historical sources reports. it was concluded that the Zoroastrians, despite the decline of political power and its associated calamities, were still politically, socially, and culturally active in the Razavi era. Also, Zoroastrians attending meetings and debates on the one hand and the role of Zoroastrians' thoughts, ideas, and scientific heritage on the civilization of this period, on the other hand, show that in the Razavi era and especially. And at the center of Baghdad's and Khorasan's political power, the Zoroastrians were able to capture part of their past legacy and transfer it to Islamic civilization, given the atmosphere of debate and support for scientific and cultural endeavors.
