Presenting a Model of Learning Disorders based on Perfectionism and Parenting Style
Learning disabilities cover a wider range ofeducational problems and require attention to the social,family, emotional and behavioral areas of the child's lifewithin the family. One of the main issues in the field ofsocial harms today is the parents' parenting style, and onthe other hand, perfectionist parents may apply ideals andaspirations that they have not been able to achieve to theirchildren and critically evaluate their children. Therefore,in the present study, the model of learning disorders basedon perfectionism and parenting style is to be presented.
The research method is appliedin terms of purpose and in terms of descriptive-surveydata collection method is correlational. The statisticalpopulation includes all female students in the fifth andsixth grades of elementary school studying in theacademic year 1399-1400 in Kermanshah. The statisticalsample of the study is 270 female students from thestatistical population. Sampling method In the presentstudy, sampling method is available. Data collection toolswere Wilkat et al.'s (2011) Learning DisabilitiesQuestionnaire, Bamrind Parenting Style Questionnaireand Multiple Identity and Felt PerfectionismQuestionnaire (1991).
Learning disabilities in students were correctlypredicted based on perfectionism and parenting styles.
Finally, it has been concluded thatcommunication with parents contributes to the predictionof learning disabilities, perfectionism contributes to theprediction of learning disabilities.
