Abstract:
The child's writers, with proper in-house selection and processing, can familiarize children with the important issues of life and the world around them. One of the authors who have paid attention to children and their issues in their stories is Rold dale. He is one of the prominent writers of British child literature. Dale has created numerous works for the child and adolescent, and most of his works have been translated into Persian and several languages. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the theme and image and image in the childish stories of the dale. The theme of the stories of Dale is often about childhood and childhood issues. The research method is library and content analysis. Issues such as children's and adult's intellectual differences, the reduction of children's fears, the negative effects of violence in the child's life, the increase of love and empathy between children and peers, and the strengthening of the child's attitude of critique are the most important intrinsic stories of the dale.
